Child custody evaluation in the context of parental divorce can be an extremely demanding task. For competing parents the stakes are high as they participate in a process fraught with concern and turmoil. The parent awarded "sole custody", can alone have legal and physical custody of your child. In a "joint custody" arrangement, parents share legal and/or physical child custody. If you and your spouse cannot agree on a child custody arrangement, the court will make a decision based on what it deems as the "best interests of your child."
