Please respond to the following issues in 45 WORDS OR LESS. 1) economy/tax reform: Do you support the tax cuts proposed by President Bush? What else can be done to strengthen the national economy?
Yes, except for incomes over $250,000. People making $10 million per year are now paying a smaller percentage of their income in taxes than those making $70,000. Perfectly Legal. “Tax” should be redefined to include high health care, gas and porn-prostitution creating crime costs.
2) Iraq/homeland security: Do you support President Bush’s proposal to return control of Iraq to the Iraqis by June 30? What more can be done to strengthen homeland security?
Yes, but I would prefer a rolling north-south return. For airline security, we can use our technology to enable planes to be “re-hijacked” by our own military aircraft through remote control from our E/A-6B Prowlers so that we don’t have to shoot citizens out of the sky.
3) education: Is the federal government doing enough to improve the quality of education?
No, but the U.S. Constitution, as currently written, does not grant this “police power” of education to the federal government. However, many want the federal government to have a role in education. I support a public debate on the acceptable role of the federal government.
Your presence is welcome.
