I have interviewed with Channel 16 and Channel 22 and had a brief radio interview with WSTO Radio in Evansville today. Channel 28 did not have a reporter available. WFRN.com does not do interviews the Monday or Tuesday before an election, although it wouldn't suprise me if the Republcan non-leadership goes to WFRN to criticize me tomorrow morning like they did 4 years ago on election morning. I also spoke with a radio station in Dallas and will be on a major nationwide radio show tomorrow morning.
This election season can not pass without me extending my sincerest thanks to all you snarky bloggers who have given me free links. A Google search of "Indiana lawyer" and "Indiana attorney" now ranks 9 and 14, respectively for www.tonyzirkle.com.

WZDA in Central Pennsylvania is trying to free up their schedule to have me on. They're checking contacts with O'Reilly to see if they want me on. I'm not sure the Republican party would allow it.

At 8:30 a.m. I conducted a 1 hour radio interview with www.billybobneck.com , a radio operator in Mississippi. I will have a follow up at 12:30 pm Eastern time.

*** I interviewed with CNN for The Situation Room with the Wolf Blitzer Show on May 1, 2008. I was interviewed in Chicago via Satellite by Carol Costello(sp?). CNN might not be able to broadcast it because the interview was definitely not politically correct. You can call CNN to contact Ms. Costello or her assistant Bob Ruff. Apparently, they were getting too many calls so they asked me to remove their phone numbers. I have done so as a courtesy. I believe they are in D.C. and New York, respectively. If any of you want to see it, you can call them and ask them to broadcast it, put it on cnn.com or maybe you can request a copy. Of course, my good friendly firing, knee-capping buddies, the Republican non-leadership, had spoken to Carol Costello at CNN prior to my arrival and thoroughly slandered me just to ensure I would not get to make the first impression myself. If anyone sees my interview with CNN leaked out, please e-mail me a link to it on the Web.

Next was Planet Radio on the Michiana News Channel which
conglomerates with a number of radio stations.
Finally, I will have a Town Hall Meeting at Penn High School, the largest high school in the district, this evening at 7:00 pm to 8:30 pm.
I will be running a 1 minute tv commercial on Fox cable throughout the district starting Wednesday, April 30 and continuing on May 1, 2, 5 and in the moring on May 6. Winamac Comcast does not have Fox so it'll be on CNN. The commercial will also run on WNDU Channel 16 during the news at 6:30-7:00 am, 6-6:30 pm, and 11-11:35 pm on May 1, May 2, May 5 and in the morning on May 6. That cost me $14,701, and since I'm completely self-funded here and am not accepting contributions, it wiped me out for a couple of days. If I have a good week, I'll add Channels 22 and 28. Zirkle’s Current Schedule for the last 2 weeks of the primary
Here is my current schedule of events for the last 2 weeks prior to the May 6, 2008 Republican Congressional Primary.
Thursday, April 24, 2008 - 7:00 pm. Carroll County Republican meeting at Carroll High School. I'm trying to clear my calendar to attend. I was actually dis-invited by the Republican Co. chair and asked not to attend, so I did not.
1. Friday, April 25, 2008 - 12:30 pm Central time. Eagle 96.7 FM and 1540 AM WLOI in LaPorte, IN. I will be taking live questions from callers from the LaPorte radio station.
2. Saturday, April 26 - Sunday, April 27, 2008 - All day - U.S. Naval Academy in Annapolis Maryland and Georgetown University in Washington, D.C. I have a tentative trip planned to conduct some filming for future television political ads at schools where I attended and developed some of my political views.
3. Monday, April 28, 2008 - Republican Libertarian Radio Interview in Chicago. This was cancelled because of the unavailablity of the interviewer and may be scheduled.
4. Wednesday, April 30, 2008 - 1:00 pm. 110 N. Main St., South Bend, IN 46601 Press Conference on a yet undecided topic.
5. Wednesday, April 30, 2008 - 7:00 pm. I will host another Town Hall meeting at Penn High School at 7:00 pm. This is now confirmed yet pending my insurance approval. The place is at the Large Group Instruction, Room A which straight in from the Bittersweer Road visitiors entrance and you curve to the left as you go back. The address is 56100 Bittersweet Road, Mishawaka, IN 46545. This will be a 90 opportunity for any member of the public to come and ask me questions.
6. Thursday, May 1, 2008. I will not be conducting the ask a lawyer program on WNIT. The cost was $6,000 and I was informed that because I'm running for office, I can not appear on the program. The City of South Bend requires a $5,000,000 insurance policy which will cost me $5,000 for a one hour event. I'm looking for cheaper insurance and I have to have the policy by April 28 to get approval.
7. Friday, May 2, 2008. Press Conference at 11:00 a.m. in my South Bend law office at 110 N. Main St., South Bend, IN 46601.
8. Saturday, May 3, 2008 - 12:00 p.m. noon to 1:00 p.m. South Bend Court House block. I am working on a final campaign event on as a march around the South Bend court house and county-city building on the side walk. I"m hoping to recruit 25-50 marchers. If you are a member of a pro-life and/or anti-porn dragon organization and would like to march, please let me know ASAP. I will give my 2nd phase of the War on Terror with a speech on the South Bend court house steps that is currently titled, "I Perceive a Nation." The title will likely change.
9. Monday, May 5, 2008 and Tuesday, May 6, 2008. - All day. I am presently available all day both days as of 4-12-08. You can reach me on my cell phone at 317 658-0107.
